Kacchi Khanas

A Bengali-language website for a Dhaka kacchi-biryani chain — menu, branch locator, reviews, and a private admin dashboard for the team.

Next.jsReactTypeScriptTailwindVercel

Kacchi Khanas is the online home of a growing Dhaka restaurant chain built around traditional Dhaka-style kacchi biryani. The site puts the brand online with a fully Bengali interface: a browsable menu, a branch locator, customer reviews, and a private dashboard the team uses to keep everything current — all served fast from the edge.

Highlights

  • Menu — dishes grouped by category (kabab, grill, chicken, naan, drinks) with prices in Bengali numerals, photography, and a one-tap call-to-order on every item.
  • Branches — each location links straight to Google Maps and lists its address, phone number, and opening hours.
  • Admin dashboard — a password-protected panel that lets staff manage the menu, branches, offers, and content without touching code.
  • Localized end to end — copy, numerals, and layout are all in Bangla, so the experience reads naturally to the restaurant’s customers.

Build notes

The front end is built with Next.js (App Router) and React, styled with Tailwind CSS, and deployed on Vercel. Food and brand imagery is served through a CDN for quick loads, and the customer-facing site is paired with an authenticated dashboard so the team owns its own content.

Built for a real client and live in production at kacchikhanas.com.

Proof I built this

Skeptical? Fair. Every site I ship carries a hidden signature. Open the developer console on kacchikhanas.com and you'll find my signed mark — the same one that greets you here on jawad.work.

  1. Open kacchikhanas.com in a new tab.
  2. Open developer tools — F12, or I on a Mac.
  3. Switch to the Console tab — my mark is printed there.
What you'll see

It's a personal signature I embed in everything I build — so there's no mistaking whose work Kacchi Khanas is.
