Sidewise is a published Shopify App Store app that lets shoppers compare products side by side before they buy. It drops a clean, scannable comparison table into any Online Store 2.0 storefront, so customers can weigh options on one screen instead of juggling browser tabs — and decide faster.
It works with the catalog data a store already has — standard fields, metafields, and metaobjects — so there’s nothing to re-enter and nothing to maintain twice. The app is read-only and private: it never modifies store data, and a shopper’s selection stays in their own browser.

It’s built to stay out of the way: read-only, privacy-respecting, and with no measurable storefront slowdown.
